    Default Deadlocks

    hey i was wondering if the deadlock on the vn calais can be transferred to my vn s-pac?? does the barrel need to be changed as well?? ive seen this thread before on the website but i cant find it now that i need it... so wot needs to be done?? thanks

    When you get out of your car you lock it with the key yea?? but with the calais they have a dead lock so that even if someone smashes the window an tries to unlock it from the inside... they dont unlock because they are jammed up.. lol if you lock someone in there... they wont be able to get out!!!

    Oh i get what you mean now, ours doesnt lock by the door so thats why i have no idea what your talking about lol. But the VT has it, to much work wen u have a remote though . Sorry cant answer your question, but its quite possible it may work as the door internals are pretty similar.

    maybe it has to do with my aftermarket remote central locking?
    actually that sounds like the definite answer, it always has to be able to unlock the door so someone ****ed off the deadlock!

    the deadlocking is a part on the rear of lock cylinder and can be added to standard locks by a good locksmith. they are not standard on VN's below Calais.
