    Default Speedo bounce issue

Righto Guys and Girls, Here's my VP problem of the day for you all..

Had a quick search, but couldn't find anything relevant so here goes..

Whilst I was making my way up the highway to work this morning, I noticed a weird issue that has only just started happening with my speedo.. Anywhere through the range, the speedo works fine, well right up until 90-100KM/H.. Once I hit this speedo, the speedo bounces from the 90-100, goes down to 0, then rises back up to show the right speed..

This continues to happen as long as you stay up above 90-100k's.. Now normally I would be thinking that the sender was on the way out if it wasn't for the fact that when I take my foot off the accelerator, it will quite happily sit where it is meant to be, so quite frankly, it has me stuffed..

Can anyone please shed some light on my predicament??..
    Thanks in advance people!!..

Oh, and just to ask a Commodore noob question, did the all VP's come out with speedos with 2km increments???..

    Cheers all..

nah just the ex police cars had the 200km/h speedo's with the 2k increments and no backlight...
sounds liek your speedo sender shaft is worn out and slipping when it gets up to that certain speed. would be worth taking it out and having a look if the shaft is still square or if it has rounded edges, cos if it has rounded edges then it should be replaced

All VP's have 2km increments at least the V8's. Also same thing has happened to me and it was the fuse
