Default Vr 5 Speed Ecotec Question

Well ive recently got the guys down here at the wreckers to install and ecotec motor and a T5 Manual with a billet lightened flywheel into my vr commodore, had a chip made by doctor bob.

everythign went smooth, they had to modify the exhuast to fit, but thats all sorted, now there is an issue related to the speedo. No speed shows up, tacho fuel etc works, but not speed. they checked all wiring and said it looks fine, is there something simple with this type of coversion?

    any help apreciated.

i know on the older holden boxex (m20/21) there was a plastic cog inside the box that
drove the speedo sender and a clip used to break on that and slide up the shaft = no
speedo. don;t know if these boxes have the same internal system, just with the electric bits.

Check the connections, wires and the sender, they could be gone.
