Exclamation help on removing a/c when removing engine

im removing my engine like i said. but.. im disconnecting the a/c and the bolts that hold it hit the chassis as i pull them out because of there length. i managed 1 bolt out but the other 3 are impossible. i need some tip on getting them out. i was thinking to raise my engine a bit until the bolts sit out past the chassis and then undo them. is that the way its done or???? any advice asap would be appreciated. heres a picture.

not sure, i dont have A\C, you may want to have a check of the "How to" forum.

i could imagine what you said would work if you require the extra height, why dont you just remove the pump when you take the motor out?
