I need to replace oil sump seals as its leaking out of it.. what is the best way to remove & replace the seal? I am aware about the oil pickup, can it be done by lifting engine up by approx 10cm up?
Its from VP V6

i think thats the only way to get the sump off by lifting the motor.
other then that its stright forward job
im going to do this to me vn very soon but the way im doinging it is removeing the crossmember...but then again im also doing all me suspension sso yeh
im pretty sure u have to either drop the crossmember or lift the engin right up
wow. What a gay job to have to do. They really didn't think that through in the design processreminds me of my VN s1 V6 thermostat

Yes. 'Rack out of X-member and 'Y' pipe off too, and of course you need to be able to support the engine, either a brace across the strut towers/inner guard or an engine crane.
Something like this:

i reckon it would torque steer like a B***H in the buick's since it has
good torque down low
haha yeah didn't think of that... driving proper cars you tend to forget that torque steer exists...
