    Default Oil Sump

I need to replace oil sump seals as its leaking out of it.. what is the best way to remove & replace the seal? I am aware about the oil pickup, can it be done by lifting engine up by approx 10cm up?
    Its from VP V6

The whole installation was a bit rushed and it's really obvious that the engine was originally mounted in FWD's.

To get the sump off, I usually drop the crossmember off the 4 studs but leave the the rest attached.

Yes. 'Rack out of X-member and 'Y' pipe off too, and of course you need to be able to support the engine, either a brace across the strut towers/inner guard or an engine crane.

    Something like this:

Transaxle Engine Support Bar from Auto Tools

haha yeah didn't think of that... driving proper cars you tend to forget that torque steer exists...
