guys just bought a VN commo. doesnt run, fuel pump electrical problem, the fuel pump doesnt prime at all, i am a second year mechanic but dont no my way round commodores, i followed the wires up all the way to the drivers side fuse box where there was 2 fuel pump wires that had been chewed off by rats only problem is, where the friggen hell do they connect?? ones a white scotch locked into a orange wire, then there is a blue wire and a green wire side by side, where do these three go, does anyone no? also i have found two earths near the fuse box that have had the wires chewed off, one directly under the fuses and one to the left of the fuse's, what are they for?? cheers..Jake
get a workshop manual at the back is the wiring diagrams that will help trace the wires and where they go but I was under the empression that the fuel pump wires were violet and black
fuel pump plugs into a relay on the drivers side fuse box in the bay
this relay is triggered (with a negative signal) from the ECU.. (blue wire white trace?!?)
