hi guys just wondering if anyone can tell me if groupa a red (duriff red) is a metalic colour. being as i just bought a bumper which is supposed to be duriff red but is not metalic. i thought this colour was metalic but it is just a solid. can anyone confirm this for me .its been so long since ive seen an original group a and i cant remember if it is or not. also is there a particular base colour when painting this colour ie black or silver ect to paint before the red goes on thanks wayne

Duriff red is a solid colour! I saw an original VN Group A 2 weeks ago up close *drools* and it's definately a solid colour.

You beat me to it Dave......I have a Phoenix red VN aswell and it's definately metallic! Atlas Grey is also metallic.
This is the colour options from 1988-1989, as you can see there is quite a few metallic colours.

yeah i think i was thinking of cardinal red is this not a maroon type colour?. similar to durrif red. i know for sure its not pheonix red im thinking of coz my dad had one in this colour .
Good work guys. Alpine white vn isn't soild doesn't matter cheaper to paint most my car has as been resprayed anyway in 2pac.
