    Default column shift

    i was just curious if anyone knew if its possible to put a sports/racing steering wheel onto a column shift? and is it harder than a normal steering wheel?

    Never seen a column shift in a VP, but i assume it will work exactly the same way a floor shift would in terms of a after market steering wheel. The boss kis is going to attach to where your original wheel bolts, so their shouldnt really be a problem. But will stand corrected. Also can you post some interior shots im interested to see what the column shift looks like.

    must be a six seater is it a wagon? is it an ex taxi? I have seen a few column shifts most came out as taxi pack six seater wagons, some sedans

    Can't see why it wouldn't work. Make sure the new wheel has a similar dish to your stock one.

    i think he means how far the rim of the steering wheel comes out, so the steering wheel doesnt rub on the column shift?

    Should be fine. i'm pretty sure the boss kit brings the sports wheel out move cause i member that the indicator was further away lol

    Exactly. The wheel also needs to be far enough back that you don't accidentally grab the shifter when turning the wheel.

    yer its possible mates got vp collum shift with aftermarket steering wheel on it
