Replacing Gears Syncros in a 5spd

Hey just wondering how complex a 5spd box is, my 1st and 2nd gears are becomming verrry noisy and sound like there about to fall out somwhere. just wondering if and how complex it would be to pull down the box, inspect whats worn and replace what is necessary.

anyone with any knowledge on this matter will be greatly apreciated

G'day just a thought, if you are close to one take the box (or complete car) to a TAFE. I did it years ago with a Torana 4spd and they are only to eager for some real jobs and they only charge (trade) for parts, labour is free and supervised by a qualified mechanic.

Ahh yeah never thought of this i done a pre-app course in 2000, might take it in a see some old teachers see how i go.
