Vn Calais On Duel/f Not Starting On Gas

hi there guys , first time posting on this forum. ihave a 1989 vn calais on duel fuel. the gas system is close to 10 years old. and just recetly the car will not start on gas... ne ideas? or has anyone had the same problem? thanks

Not sure if this will help ,, I have one on gas too but it start on petrol and switches it self to gas,,mines also about 10 years old

you wont really find alot of help here about gas.... but as someone who has had it stuff up, check all earths for the system... its something small and will most likly not be the problem but its worth a shot

perhaps some more info may assist anyone who knows enough to help you.


Will the car run on gas, when it is switched over from petrol on the move?
Is it only cold starts on gas, or hot starts as well?

Can you hear the lpg fuel lockoff solenoids click when you turn the ignition to on, should be a click from the tank and one from under the bonnet?
