Hi all,
For the last couple of months my boot has been leaking. A couple of times I've had to remove a lot of water from where the spare wheel sits. That's where most of the water is collected. Also, there's usually water on the far right-hand side of the boot right on the edge there, plus under the carpet pretty much all the way across from left to right.
The boot seals look okay and they're never wet on the inside. I just can't see where all the water is coming from!
It's very annoying because I don't want any rust happening and my car smells (well, the boot does anyway).
Thanks for your help!
Usually, the leak comes from the rear quarter windows. Water usually leaks in through splitting seals and leaks into the wheel well.

yeah get out the silicone and go over the seals of the rear quarter windows just try and make it neat.
Also the tail lights often crack from old age and the sun so check them over & f you see slight cracking then go over that with silicone and smooth it out with your fingers. Also where the red/white/orange meet can crack there as well so I basically ran a seam of silicone around every joint of the rear lights.
I have used atleast 2 tubes off silicon on my car to stop leaks and I have
Another option is to get a friend in the boot with a torch and go over the boot/lights with the hose. But I can tell you it will be your rear quarter windows & also the rear lights, even go around the rear lights were they join the body of car as the seal goes bad there as well.
