vp vacationer diff ratio

i was talking to one of my mates and he said that my car a vp vacationer had a diff ratio of 2:73 or something for hiway cruising not the normal 3:08 ratio. just wondering if anyone know anything about this? or if they can confirm this?

No it is still 3.08

Yeah i have been told that there is a highway diff in a some normal commodore V6, ratio of like 2:77 or something lol,

from VN onwards the standard diff ratio was 3.08 until VTs2

As said. This is for V6 and V8 for VN/VP, the only exceptions being HSV.

my mate reckons he has a 2.73 in his vr and it came stock like that but ive always thought all were 3.08 from vn on
