vn bonnet stuck

hey fella's
iv got a fairly good condition vn just sitting at home and im gunna get it re-registed, but to do that i was in the engine bay replacing a few things and iv left a tool sittin ontop of the headlight , and then shut the bonnet. so now the bonnet is popped but i cant get it open at all, any sugestions. i have takin the grill off but it didnt help. i just wanna know if there is an easier way to do it rather then getting under the car to get it open.

yeh done that heaps of times ...try pulling the bonnet up while another pulls the leaver or try pushing down on it
