diffrent crankshafts please help

hey everyone, im doing an auto to manual conversion and i was told that series 1 auto and manual crankshafts are different. are the crankshafts different on the ev6 motors ( fitted after september 1989) aswell or can a manual be fitted to the same crankshaft.
please help

I think the cranks became the same with series 2 (1991), not series 1.5 as you might call them.
