help please

im having trouble with my vn i havent had it going for about a month when i tryed to start it it acked like it had a flat battery so i brought a brand new battery and tryed that and there was no change its still acking like theres no power going anywhere its got me beat please help i miss driving my car cheers

Does the horn work??


if not ur teminals could be carroded, maybe main fuses.

stupid qtn but is the polarity the right way?

start with some basics and work ur way up.

thanks mate yes the horn works and the battery termals are clean but wat are polarities ive never heard of then matye cheers

Sorry mate, Like i mean Is the RED on + and the black on - its a simple mistake people can make. expecialy if you get a wrong battery (or as some ppl do borrow one from another car while has the + and - on opposite sides)

if the horn is working you must have power, do the red lights in the dash come on when you turn the key also can you hear the fuel pump cut in??

thanks mate and yes the dash lights come on the battery termales are on the right way. but i dont hear the fuel pump kick in but i have had to direct the wires stright from the fuel pump stright to the main fuse because i have a breack in the wire somewhere but after i did that the car did start without a problem
