i needed a puller to get mine off so i say yes u do
there not that dear anyway so worth having one
as fare as i no mate you need a puller for all harmonic balancers but i might be wrong
my $h!tbox s1 v6 vn H balancer come of with a desent pull lol, No puller required
have a go and if your replacing it get imaginative and use maybe tyre levers? you might have to remove thermo fans to do this tho i had too!
done 2 and no puller was required for me however series 2 need a puller just pull with some decent amout of force and it should come
Hey Just an update,
Decided to try without and then if needed get one then.
Once i got a breaker bar and 1200mm of Roundbar and got the bolt undone it slipped off as easy as checking the oil, new on on bout 3 minute job all round.
I can drive my car again pity about the Gearbox noises...
