    Default grinding feeling

when im driving i can feel like a scraping or grinding on the pedals comin from the front wheels, i think. atleast thats wat it feels like.
i got sum new rims n tyres bout 3 months ago nd i havent really noticed it much until now. i have looked nd felt around the tyres nd nothing is touching it. so u dont know wat it is.

    anyone else had this problem?

bigger/wider rims put more strain on the old wheel bearings. i found that when i first fitted 17's on the VN that there were rubbing marks on the strut right next to the new treads. increasing the bearing pre-load a little fixed this problem.

This is especially the case when going to a wider offset. If the hub part of the rim is deeper than the originals they can do as described by immortality.

the strut is the thing that the wheel bolts to at the bottom, has the shock inside it and the spring at the top. sits approx 20mm inside the wheel depending in wheel/rim width.

best to get a gregories manual and learn something about your ride
