Default How to fix the rear window wiper in a wagon

My son has a VN wagon 93 model. Anyway as usual OH and son have left me to try and find out some info so they can replace or fix the back window wiper or jet.

here is the problem. Son filled up water bottle for back window and pushed button and got some minor flooding in the wagon.

So can any one direct me to a thread on here that would show them how to re attach the hose to the pump and to the jet (just my personal opinion as to what is wrong)

Thank you muchly in advance. Failing that I need a hammer to fix the boys!!

i did a quick search but didn't find anything. check that the hose hasn't got a split in it anywhere or if it has come off the motor. start by just pulling some trims up so you can see the system. that's my 2c.

you will need to remove the trim from the inside of the tailgate to get to the nozzle.

thanks! Just told them and they both looked at me blankly and said 'but we already did that!"

Hubby has just spent a fruitless afternoon trying to work out how to get to the water squirter that sits at the top of the window in the rear of the wagon. He said the inlet hose is not attached but he cannot see anyway of being able to get to the squirter to reattach the hose. He said he has taken off the trim but it doesnt not allow access to the squirter.

Sorry, bum steer. Apparently you have to prise it out gently. I got that from a VR workshop manual, not personal experience.
Looks like I'm a bit late.

Hi i am new to all this lol: question where would i find the water bottle for the rear wiper or is combined to the front bottle for the front windscreen. I can not find it anywhere my VS wagon i used to have the bottle etc it was on the inside at the back of the wagon but be buggered if i can find it on this VR wagon. Next question got a rear wiper motor as my old one died etc. Now the new one is back in but for some reason it keep blowing the fuse. would anyone know what the problem might be there could it be a wire touching something which makes it short out. well thats all i can think of??

rear window washer bottle might be in the spare wheel compartment in the boot under the carpet there.
