Hey All
Dose or have anyone seen or put VS or newer seats in a VN want to update the inertior in my VN want a Calais or statesman or VS SS even VT
I can see the front seats want be to much bigger but with the back seats the center folds fully down in VS on, but VN only has as we all know
Any one help in this matter

whoa that thing looks clean. like what mine used to be, just a lot straighter. i have vq caprice seats in mine and theyre a big improvement. any seats from vn-vs will fit, but vp-vs seats will need a few modifications to make the rear seat fit, because they are a split 3 section seat instead of 1 piece like the VN

I have WH Statesman seats in my VN. WK WL are the same as WH as well. Extremely comfy compared to the VN series seats. Few hours work to get them in but they fit nice.
Thanks guys, yeah pushin for the Vq interior too I think, its a family car now too so don't want to have to mod anything for safty, Love ya ride VN2NV she looks hot as with the body I always wanted to put a SV kit but gonna keep it stock as i can but got a post box grill, try'n to stop da wife panting it Electric Orange (new ford focus) coz need a re-spray thats what i get for liven by the beach for 3 years
vn2nv, this is illegal right? there's a good set that i'm thinking of buying but i need to be able to sell the car![]()
No it should all be legal. I swapped the foams for the front seats so im still using the original seat bases/frames.
The only thing with the rear seat is you need to drill 2 holes for the middle folding section, but they have holes there in the VQ's and VP's etc. etc. so I don't see the problem.
Not as nice as VT Berlina seats!
aZk.
i just put vs seats in my vn, fronts go in straight swap rear you have to drill holes for the centre fold because my standard rear seats were one piece and the vs ones were 3 piece. no dramas tho!
if u still want a pic just shout out and ill get u one

If I were to upgrade a VN's interior, as in seats I would go for somthing newer and nicer then the OLD VQ stuff, get your hands on some newer stuff, it fits in and looks way better. Will last longer too.

I have VX SS bucket seats in the front of mine. I didn't do the rail conversion for them, but it doesn't seem to hard from looking at the rails before i put them in my car. If you swap the rails over from your current VN seats onto the new seats, it will be easier.

True, especially if you want the VT / VX / VY etc seats for your car. They are bloody expensive.
