Pedders have quoted me $1300 for new springs and shocks installed.
Or i can get Koni shocks and Lovell springs for $1275 installed.
My question is which is better??? What should i get?
I got bilstein springs and shocks all round for roughly the same $$$. Highly recommended. Had to put them in myself though (easy job).

My problem is i dont know the difference between brands, i cant get bilstein i dont think but would they be similar to the koni and lovell? Would all these handle better than pedders?
i have pedders springs in my car and they are great. Also i am extremely pleased with the workmanship and quality of pedders. Ridgehaven South Oz anyways. To be honest though mate provided you dont fit recond second hand cheap ebay springs, you will be hard pressed to know the difference between pedders and koni etc. At that price i take it you have been quoted for pedders sports ryder springs and shocks? You can save yourself some coin and get the pedders touring springs. they are great handling and nice and low

I was going to go pedders but now i want koni and lovell lol. Arnt the touring springs from pedders softer than the sports ryder?
Pedders offered, $730 for shocks all round, + $300 springs + $300 lowered + $300 urethane bushes.
Price isnt really an issue tho, its just the brands im concerned about, but nicko if u reckon i wont know the difference i'll prob go the cheaper option.
Reaper i'll check out the Bilstein at the shop on saturday
Thanks
Btw GT Suspension in Flemington will do the Koni and lovells, have any vic boys here had any work done by them?
if you drive your car on touring springs and then instanly you have it changed to sports ryders im sure u will notice a difference. However i notice your driving a 5L VN which is pretty much a perfect cruiser. If cost isnt a problem then go the sports ryders but for street performance you wouldnt notice the difference.

Alright awesome, so i guess its just a case of who is going to be the better dealer lol, ive heard of places taking used springs and cleaning them up and selling them as new and ive had to deal with **** like that lately with a phone for somebody so im on my toes a bit atm. Thanks for the help tho.
Does the koni deal include the bushes? Also im not sure what the "$300 lowered' means, seen as there are already a set of springs included... but what you've written adds up to $1630.![]()
I would suggest the koni deal hands down, provided both include the same 'package'. Koni has a good reputation, pedders is the generic choice, but perhaps not the best choice.
