    Default neutral safety switch

    is the neutral safety switch on the VN V6 easy to get to? will i be able to change it using ramps? need to do one in a carpark without access to a hoist and havnt actually looked at how hard it is, any advice?

    ya dont need to get under the car,the inhibitor/reverse switch is on the bottom of the shifter inside the car,all ya need to do is remove the gear shift cover and its right there.

    mates VN doesnt want to start from time to time, have installed two second hand starter motors and new ignition barrel with switch, car wont start in P put it in neutral and its starts sometimes you have to try P then N than P again before it will start, am thinking its the switch

    yeah the vp is doing the same thing aswell. i just hold the stick slightly above park to get her going. normally works

    That's kind of a cool kill switch .. is there any way to slightly ruin my inhibitor switch so it's like fu2's? Try to steal that VP lol

    yes. grey wire in that area. put a switch on it and hide it. shouldnt be hard to find what wire it is

    savage, you can buy my old inhibitor if ou want, you would either have to have your hand on the gear selector or push it forward to start the car

    that's a good idea. Might look into that for my VN.. put the kill switch somewhere silly
