Actually, chrome tips rust and tarnish over time. You are better buying a cut piece of stainless steel pipe and getting it polished - keeps shining longer.

If you have a V8 then getting a great note is easy. Usually the better system you put on for performance gives you an equally good sound as well. It is possible to go too big however and lose that crisp clean note.

If you are handy, go for it. Go buy some 3" mandrel bends to hook on to the back of a twin 2.5" twin system (including dual cats.) Hang that of the back of a pair of Pacemaker Extractors. Nice sound, great performance!

I did say for a V8. Drop that down half an inch per side for a 6.

Be easier to buy on of these than make one. Try exhaust shops around that deal with ricers and ask for HKS, Trust, Nismo, etc...

There are exhaust shops that will make there own, look at the real good custom guys for these.

Or you could just weld up some stainless steel sheet metal and stuff it with steel wool... lol

Why note just get a big red flashing strobe light. Easier and will attract more attention. Just like a loud exhaust it will ensure everyone is looking squarly at you if you have an accident while going too fast.

Instead of saying, "yeah officer we heard him coming a mile away", they can just say "yeah officer we saw him coming a mile away".

    Default Excel Or Commodore?

IF YOU WANT A CANON BY A EXCEL.

Please dont put the v6 2 shame they sound shocking with a 6" canon and there for jap cars. Get a nice 2 1/2 system, with a stainless GEN III tip

A canon is not for a commodore. I think they look crap and sound even worse!
