i've got a v6 vp manual, and when i took up my centre console the other day, i found that the seal around the base of the gear shift was seperated, and i could see right through.
i reckon this is part of why i get different road/engine noise depending on which gear i'm in.
is there a part number for this rubber seal, and are they available from holden?
***edit***
just took some pics to clarify, it's not this one
it's this one

Hey mate i had the same problem with my VS manual, all i did was seal it back up with some adhesive sealant from any hardware store and i haven't had a problem since.
There's a guy on ebay that has a few in stock, don't think Holden have any left but you can check
holden dont make them anymore. i got one off a guy on ebay a few weeks ago for about $25 i think
