6 or 8?
8 sounds ok with the head work and cam...
pushing a lot to get a NA v6 that high with just that dont to it...
aZk.
That would be "flowing heads" not floating :P you must have miss heard him when he was talking about the 200rwkw V6?maybe that was 200 rwhp, which is more like it
haha isn't floating heads like when the bolts stretch, strip or snap and they lift up under massive boost?? You'd be pushing to make any rwkw if you had floating heads![]()

lol yeah, haven't we all been in a car on fire at least once? Happens to me almost every week, in fact last night on the way home my other car the one nobody has ever seen and has 500rwkw from a factory V6 with headers just burst into flames at like 140 on the highway omg didn't know what to do just jumped out and somehow I'm fine now!!!
Honest!

NFI what float heads are, perhaps some abstract technical term or just the guy misheard the term 'flowed heads' once and has adopted his mistake as truth... HOWEVER I don't think 200rwkw is unreachable IF he has those modifications. We're talking a 5L with intake and exhaust, a compression increase and a custom grind cam with aftermarket rockers, 200rwkw would be the minimum I'd expect for this sort of work, depending on the cam specs.

is it an 8 or a 6..
you dont want floating heads it is when the heads lift from the block in FI aplications when they are running massive boost through them
maybe he has valve float, tell him he might want to get it looked at![]()

i have seen what someone COULD consider to be floating heads. i think it was a hemi big block of some sort and the heads had been O ringed and didn't have gaskets at all. you could actually see a small gap between the head and block. was in some old school style mag many years ago

I read about a setup like this recently, this particular one had a wet-sleeved block as well... a very complex, precise and time consuming job as I understand it.
It was a Charger of some description.
