Hey Guys,
I v been looking at my wheels lately and noticing they becoming rough. I have the ability to fill the chips and dents at work with my TIG welder and i was thinking about doing this then getting them Bead Blasted and Either Powder coated or 2k Sprayed High Gloss Black. Not sure how this would look on my car though.
Just Want some Opinions please Iv attached a pic

no dont do it, black rims just look gay, just polish them it will ten times better
"A life lived in fear is a life half lived"
Black rims are the best thank you!!!
Shut up when I'm talkin' to you, you hear me, answer me!
Nah polished rims look gay, HOWEVER black might not really work too well with your silver highlights, they would stand out too much. Think of every busted neglected commo on 15" black stockies.
But you never know, if they are a nice gloss black it could look awesome!! Either way you decide I'm very interested to see the result!!
Also think about the option of black rims with whitewalls, that could be an idea.

This is my Thought... Blue Car, Silver hilights, black rims... but i also can see the finished product looking good too....
Guess theres only one way to find out.. if they look crap someone on eBay will buy them
Keep the opinions coming though they are apreciated

black wheels with 1/2 inch whitewalls will look awesome!
I think the wheels suit perfect, matches the kit inserts too!
I think it looks good the way it is now, black on black looks sux and those rims are pretty good
cannot say I am a fan of that pattern
...but nice car mate
do you have any powdercoated rim pictures?
I am thinking it will either look hot or look totally weird..

At least you have rims that can be repaired easily... Last owner was ruthless on my 19s too, but they're a machined lip. Makes repairs a bit tricky I think.

Yep, Not Umpossible.. just need someone with a lathe bigenough to turn rims and an operator who knows how to do it.......
Im just gonna tig up the skuffs n sand then clean and run a Porcoline Buffer over em... just need to work out how to re-coat them.... im sure its like a powdercoat.... tis definatly close to it.. i'll pound my p/coater for answers tomorrow morn when im hung over as **** pickin up the switchboards i was supposed to fit out today!!!

Yeah I'll have to ask a proper rim repair joint about my stupid gutter smashes... hell I shouldn't complain too much, got the rims for an absolute bargain purely because one was badly kerbed
