Have the opportunity to possibly buy a VN SS (Atlis Grey) with minor front damage for $2,500. 218,000kms. Looks to be complete and original but for the wheels. Should only cost about $500 to fix ie bonnet grill & bar.
Can I get $2,000 for my 91 V8 VN?

Yeah man!
If I had my time over again, it woulda been a VN SS for sure...Well unless someone offered me a VN SV5000 or Group A for 5 grand lol
Yes, buy it. And yes, you can easily get 2k for a 91 V8 as long as the condition is half good!
Buy it, fix it up, then sell it to me. As with so many other people, an Atlas Grey VN SS is way up there on my wish list.

But it dude.Fix it up and drive it.Remember your VN V8 the engine and gearbox together is worth 2grand.So i reckon you would be able to get 2grand for it easy.

2.5k seems like a bargain even with some damage. A guy kinda near my house is selling an awesome looking vn ss for 10k still
edit: just looked at carsguide cheapest is 5k
sounds like a pretty good deal mate, is the price negotiable? cos maybe u could push its going 2 cost u 2 fix it and such to drive the price down a little further. but yeh id say go 4 it
sounds like a plan i would if i had the money is it manual?
project vs wagon...5speed
vs wagon acclaim
you can get a fully worked VN SS between 8-12 grand. i wouldnt waste my time on a stock wreck that even when you do fix it, its still not gunna be worth anymore then 5 grand. unless of corse your buying it to make a few bucks.

Here's a few photos. Note A9F code. That is it.
Not seen a K19S code before. This tag is under the LH headlight.

My issue with "fully worked" cars as a proposition for me to buy is you never know exactly what was done unless you saw the build yourself. Inevitably corners are cut and things are never done quite "your way". Furthermore it's always a bit like Russian roulette - never knowing exactly when the hand-grenade will go off. This compared to buying a stocky off some old geezer which is a much lower risk plus you can build it exactly the way you like.

Fix your green wagon with some extra cash (if possible), then gut the SS and put the running gear in your wagon and **** the SS shell off for $400 or something. Then you have that sweet looking wagon with a V8.

I've been caught out. That was my sneeky plan. Drive the SS for a while and one day while the wifes away...... V8 Green Wagon.
