It is not a hard job to remove the fuel tank providing you empty it first. Just disconnect all the hoses and electrical connector and then undo the straps that hold the tank up. I can't help with the other questions.

I got a second hand tank put in last year, cost $40 from wreckers, $30 for them 2put it in and replace all fuel lines. I got them to replace all fuel lines and flush the 'new' tank also. Spent like $20 on fuel lines. Mind you, these wreckers were real good guys, did did things pretty cheap 4me. Normally it would take around 1/2 hour 2replace tank, most mechanics charge $30-$50 per hour, so not much.

Its easy undoing the lines and dropping thr tank, but getting another 1 back up is abit tricky if you havnt done it before, only because of the breathers and that ontop of the tank, they are tricky and you dont want to do the tank up and block of the lines.

yes it is kind of easy

but would be a lot easier with a mate to help you.

the tanks only held by a few straps and bolts , then it lowers down and you disconnet the lines and the fuel input thing ( where you put the petrol bowser in).

the you do all the breathers while its out and slap it back it.

easy but a bit awkward, but you will not have any probs

the lines are just rubber hose about 5$ a meter
