I'm pretty sure they don't have a limiter. They will valve bounce, it's just what happens when you rev them stupidly high.

The limiter on VN's is like 5400 or something, since when do you rev a motor to 6 grand to test if it works well. Hate to be a car dealer where you live you twit
hahaha yes! That's what I was thinking just didn't want to say it. Especially if it was cold and ESPECIALLY if it was just started up, you should be slapped. Whoever told you to do that was a nutcase!!
Nothing against you in person whiskydrinka but that is a very thoughtless and pointless thing to do to a car.

I just don't understand why you'd try to blow up a motor you're looking at buying...
Nice car list by the way.

Your the type of person we had couldnt start up our car when selling it.
We had ******** after ********, coming in pulling **** apart to "check" the car out, people tearing seals off, breaking the plastic on the GTS dash, aswell as one person flogging it right out, when it hadnt been started in weeks, was completly cold, he starts it and revs it to what would of been close to 7 grand for about 20 seconds when i ripped him out. This was on a HQ so no rev limiter at all.
We actually started to tell people it wasnt for sale, even though it clearly had a massive for sale sign on it. We would "judge" people by what they drove and were wearing before we got the keys, yes its sad i dont like judging people but we had that many ********s coming round and "checking" out the car.
haha oh dear. That would have been painful to hear, cold HQ GTS to redline...
