VP Bodykits

G'day,

I am looking at getting a nice bodykit for my VP and was wondering if anyone here knew of a place in Brisbane or Gold/Sunshine coast that sells them or custom makes them ?

Ive been eyeing off a vx kit for my vp, but the kit looks a little to bolt on, like the guards dont look like they join properly. I will in the future by a vx kit and get someone with great body work skills to modify it for my preference.

dont go slapping anything other than a kit that the car rolled out of the factory in.. honostly they ALL look terrible.. im sorry... take a look at my old vn, group A kit.. looks good on a vp too

stick with something simple, like with the lads above got, SS, group A kit, they look GUN.

for a VN, yes, but not on a VP.

Why not the vp doesnt suit it or what? Or just cos it shouldnt be there? Also who has the black calais that still has the grey onder striping? Someone here just cant remember who owns it.

I like kits factory.

meaning all bumpers etc. The boot spoiler on my car suits VN or VP, aswell as the Group A bonnet bulge.

I'd have to agree - stick with a factory VN/VP kit. It's really difficult to make a later model kit look any good at all.

Later model kits on early model commodores look like absoloute CRAP. Seen this VN with a VT kit on it once, MINT paint job (metallic orange with purple pearl), sigs, sitting low as hell, 5 litre etc, it would have been awesome had he not fitted a bloody VT kit to it.

The kit ruined it bigtime. If it had of had a group a or even an SV5000 kit on it, it would have been awesome. What's worse than VT kits on VN / VP's, are the VS / VR clubby kits on VN / VP's. The ONLY half decent VN i have ever seen with a later model kit on it, is 8OOSTD from SC forum. The Slime green VN with the VX clubby rear bar, side skirts, and custom front bar, slime green interior etc etc. That thing is insane though, tonnes of work and detail in it.

Other than that, they look CRAP.

That looks pretty good mate! Good to see more and more people with ute's who don't just ONLY put the front bar from a bodykit on. Way too many VS utes out there too with just the clubby front bar on.
