    Default Cai

hi guys, that thing sticking out the airbox in a vn/vp v6 that faces the headlights, what i want to know is if i just remove it and leave it and not add a cai will it increase kws and improve fuel economy a little.

im interested to find out as the hole is bigger than if that bit was put back.

is it legal to remove that little bit sticking out the airbox. im pretty sure its ok to do it.

is it ok to add ducting like someone else did. is it legal.

am i able to put a vent on the bumper bar at the front and run piping from the airbox to that so it looks a little neater instead of zip ties.

your best option is either the holden super 6 CAI but in my opinion i doesn't do much, i'd recomend you see what morton has done on his VP using 100mm flex drain pipe. it's about the cheapest most functional CAI around

Do you even know how to use the search function? I don't know how many times this has been covered.
