I'd be expecting it to be in the highish 13's, pending your manual driving/launching abilities!

    a mate of mine with a 170ish rwkw VK carby V8 with tricked-up trimatic & stall converter + 3.55 gearing ran a 13.8

Same car with a stock EFI 5ltr (dynoed at 140rwkw), 3.7's and a tricked t700 ran 14.3, but was going into o/d gear just before the finish line.

If greenfoam finds this thread, I'm willing to place bets on his predictions

Good thing about the VN Clubsport is the light weight, the stockers ran mid 14's with 180kw at the engine! Now you have 180 at the wheels, will be a 13 second car.

i doubt mid 14s from a auto same engine as mine has , with a 6 speed its more than possible

    im betting

    1.95 - 60ft
    8.9 - 1/8 mile
    13.5 - 1/4 mile

only 1 way to know for sure mate

given its 6 speed those 4.11s will give you a good kick in the ass thought most of the gears should keep you in usable power all the way to the finish line

it all depends on the weight of the car...

    VN Clubsport:

    Weight: 1360kg
    0-100km/h: 6.8
    0-400m: 14.6

    5-Speed manual

Taken from Wheels, I bet those times can be beaten since we all know Wheels times are always too high.

Hence I buckup my previous statement to prove Gordon isnt so flash, Gigidy. lol.

You tell me the specs on the engine and I'll tell you how fast it will go (within a tenth or two) but a 6 speed and 4.11s sounds a bit carried away to me

6sp isn't carried away, and neither are 4.11s... but I think he means the combination of the two is a little hahaha

You must change gears more often than you blink

I see, that would be Crow cam part number 4666 204/214 @ 50 I'd say then. Makes sense why it goes so good since that's my choice of the best cam grind you can get on a near stock 304. Well I can't deal with looking up the ratios at the moment for the 6 speed. But for now I rekcon about 13.6 depending on how good the tune and how cold your intake is etc and mostly importantly how fast you can get the gears shifted. I think less diff would be better with that gearbox that's what I ment about it being a bit much

funnily enough i actually dont have to change the gears as quick as i did in the five speed..could only get bout 40 in first..now i get round 60 out of first and its just weird how it changed so much by changing the trans..also have a ripshift in there as well which is quite nice..very tight and does the cross pattern into third for you...not that i need it but it does make it alot easier...thanks for the info fella's hopefully will give it a squirt on the quarter in a month or so
