Default trip computer (IVE BEEN SEARCHING SO BE KIND)

    hi guys.

ive been reading a post from ford mods and to make a el ecu work on a ed trip computer just run a wire from the data line and splice it into the pwm injector pulse and it will work.

i want to know if its possible to do the same with a holden ecu with a ed ford trip computer so i can have a trip computer in the vp without putting in a level 3 dash because im interested to find out and to save problems with a level 3 dash

So let me get this straight, you want to try and find out how to put a ED FORD trip computer into your VP COMMODORE to SAVE you the trouble of installing a HOLDEN LEVEL 3 DASH.

Answer in short, your a extra large penis kebab and should be banished from these forums.

^^LOLZ(aimed at mack, im just too slow)

it would be easier to get and install a l3 dash than to try and setup a way to interface the ford trip computer with the holden ecu.

exactly. if you're getting a falcon, save the dollars for that, dont spend money on the vp unless it NEEDS it.

that heap hahaha yeah i cant be bothered pulling the dash out and changine the wiring even retrofitting smartlock into a eb2 non smartlock fairmont will probably be easier than the level 3 conversion in the vp.

do you know anyone in sa that has a cheap eb series 2 fairmont sedan 4L with genuine alloy wheels for say 1500-2000 or one thats only got something minor wrong like a coil that has to be towed.
