Chips on ebay - Anyone else brought one?
Hi, i just brought a stage three chip off ebay for $14.00
I'm just wondering if anyone else has brought one and if they got the power increase they claim (12 rwkw). The company that makes them is calleb Marobi and they have chips for 100's of cars listed for $14.00 starting bid. Go check them out because the feedback is really good for these chips, some customers claim dyno proven kw increase and say they feel a huge difference in torque etc.

Seems real cheap for something thats real and not fake, you put it in your car then to test if its workin?
sure if its legit 14$ for 12kw is pretty good, i wouldnt wanna buy anything off ebay whether it is 14 or 140 id want their blood if it was a scam

alot of 'chips' on ebay would be stock chips, the driver installs it and thinks theres an increase, but theres not...

Dude don't pay for it. Pm Greenfoam, and he will do you a REAL chip that really DOES make a difference to your power output in your car for a good price.
Trust me, ALOT of people on this forum have Foamy tunes, and they DO make a big difference. Me being one of those people. Believe me, it's worth every dollar. The Egay chip won't do anything except root your fuel economy and possibly your engine.
Oh, and alot of that feedback would be bull****, alot of dodgy users make up new accounts and leave themselves feedback.

100% recommend you get a foamy tune, gives more power, better fuel economy and he is great to deal with
Well I don't know what kind of tune Marobi does. But I do know I've done tunes for people that were running one of his eproms and the reaplcement was faster. I'd say he's doing sv 3800's. You wont gain 12 rwkw on a VN S1 V6 even doing full bolt ons and a tune let alone a tune only, on a VN S2 and VP you get a bit, VR might get close to that 12, maybe 10I dunno but VR's gain alot. I like VR's they are the best V6 tuning wise

Yep, worth the $14 for sure. But everyone sells eproms for $20 or less these days, that's the going rate

Alot of people with VN S1's i know that have put those "performance" chips in their cars, have taken them out and sent them off to people for re tuning because the SV3800 tune that's on alot of those Egay chips ruins fuel economy and chews through their fuel, and makes their car idle rough and rich.
Believe me and alot of others on here, Greenfoam tunes FTW!!!

ROFL @ the **** that bloke talks in that ad. "Don't expect your fuel economy to get better with this one". What a load or horse ****. The tune Greenfoam burnt for me, gives me fantastic fuel economy, and my car performs ALOT better than an old Egay tune i had.
Just another **** talker burning a tune everyone can get their hands on. I gotta say mate, i would have used that $14, saved another few bucks, and sent a chip to Foamy. He can get you awesome fuel economy and your car will perform better than it will on one of those Egay chips.
But hey, it's up to you.

He speaks the truth!! ^^^ Most people do end up getting them retuned due to gayness of the original tune on the chip. And it saves you having to solder that burn onto the chip.

Basically, very bluntly..... You got ripped off, those chips are gay, they won't do **** for your car, egay really IS eGAY. The guy who sold you that chip, reminds me of the knob jockey who made the post that ^^^^^ Mack, has in his signature.
Spend the extra, get a Foamy tune, and you will come back thanking everyone who recommended him. Best money i ever spent!

The SV3800 Tune makes a VN get up n boogy - BUT it uses a heap of fuel to do it.
If V8 consumption is OK then use it - I just have a much more economical tune now - like 4 to 5 L/100kms better city cycle. Thats very hard to beat full stop.
