how hard is ti to change your welsh plugs should u get this done proffesionally or should i do it my self has anyone done this before jus wandering if there would be enuf room if i took eng mount bolts out n jacked up the engine mechs quoated me 800 2 1000 theres gotta be a beta wayoohh its a vn 5.0
the rear plugs need the transmission removed, ive tried every other possible way and thats what i had to do, not an easy job. when you do replace them get brass welsh plugs, theyll last alot longer.
Not 100% sure about the 5.0 litres but I have changed all 4 in my 3.8 with your method. I jacked the motor up far enough to be able to bash the old ones out, then also enough room to put the new ones in.
As said above, but brass welsch plugs, they won't rust. Also, make sure they are starigh when banging the new ones in. It's a bitch to pull them out and start again!
