Vn 5 Speed issues - Last Resort Post... HELP!

Ok, I have been searching thus forum for the last 2.5 hours soley on clutch and 5sped issues. Heres the story so far..

I noticed a chattering in my box one day in 1st gear only... its was very faint and came and went often.. i thought not much of it.

then it got worse and started to happen in 2nd gear at this point it was only noticable with the windows down and no stereo on.

i changed my oil to no advantage and the noise got fairly worse to the point of my sons freinds askin what the noise was from your dads car.

One day i took off from the lights and gave it ****loads not spinning but just a zing zing through the gears and then i noticed the noise had Not completely gone but was back to a light chatter in 1st and 2nd.

the last week or so the noise had Come back in a massive way and is now in 3rd bit 2nd gets peoples attention from about 50-100mts when coasting at 35-40km and then near turns into a squeeky chatter when i boot it.

as soon as i enguage the clutch the noise stops and returns as soon as i re enguage it. the noise also seems to disapear on the cusp of the change between accel and decel (like the change of the load being engine to diff then diff back to engine)

i am worried i am going to buy a new box and realise it wasnt even it. could this be a suspect Thrust bearing??? or would that tend to make the noise in all the gears... i suspect its a Input shaft bearing or even syncros but i am thinking these items would make the same noise consistant in all gears.. and syncros would make it hard to select gears.

The clutch is only 7000km old and doesnt slip at all. and i do notice a very faint chattering when in neutral and idleing clutch enguaged.

the noise is over bearing in 2nd gear it gets a lot of attn from people when doing 35kmh down the street.

Sorry for the long winded post but I'v got $600 Bux and iv got to decide wether to get this box for $550 by 5pm tomorrow... and just hope that its going to fix.

sny suggestions im thinkin bout not working tomorrow and ripping it all out and inspecting all the gear before buyin a box. but even then i suppose it could be a series of issues.

any ideas??? im lost and i need my wheels for work....

They Came out ****... all u can hear is NOISE and the zaust behind that.. sounds like white noise.... not the noise of the box
