i bought a vx clubby kit 4 my vn. The front fits fine but the spot 4 the pipe on the bak is in the wrong spot. I went 2 the exhaust shop 2 ask them 2 move it but they said they cant cause of the spare tyre arch thingy is in the way, i asked them if they can put an S bend on the pipe but they said i shouldnt do that. I dont c y, I c lots of cars with an S bend in the end of it.
Anyway wat should i do, should i cut another hole in the bumper or angle the pipe down. If any1 else has done this can u send me a pic
thanx![]()
You need to have the kit modified for the pipe. Most ads on egay and kit sites, tell you that you need to do that.
Serves you right for buying a VX clubby kit for your VN![]()
But yeah, you need to have the kit modified a bit for it.

It was done for free when my kit was fitted. They just put a new rear section on the exhaust system that was angled out through the rear bars different exit.
The exhaust shop obviously knows jack **** if they're saying you can't do that. They just cant be bothered doing it.
I was told the kit needed to be modified. Either way it's gay. Why modify a somewhat decent exhaust kit when you can mod a kit that already looks haggard on an earlier model car?![]()

instead of having yhe exhaust exiting in the right spot, y dont u just cut the pipe and have it dunped just prior to exiting the kit bro it saves all this or just take it to an exhaust mob and they will fix the problem for roughly $50-100 bucks not too hard ive done it to my vp wagon b4 i sold it off..
by the way the vx kits look respctable on any car just so long as the owner is happy with the result....
^Then you'd have a big gap in the bodykit where the exhaust SHOULD be and it wouldn't look right imo
I did that to my vp i owned a while ago. Brought a piece of mandrel bent pipe from the local exhaust shop and did it myself. It didn't go through the opening in the bar itself but was visible from the back and sat just behind the opening so it looked fine.
