    Default LSD Identification Part numbers?

Hey all ive spent 2hrs searching through threads looking for a post that had LSD identification numbers, but i cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know where its located?
I bought a LSD and just want to confirm its LSD as i read somewhere the highperformance tag doesnt mean squat. It has two tags one mainly a compliance tag the other has P/N: 92034581 . When i spin the hub both turn the same way but when i search the tag number nothing shows up.

    Thats a good sign!!

The part number you have is for a V8 sedan - production option G80. (G80 = LSD)

    The 10 thousand k's

But the LSD number is for a VP V8 sedan - SS probably. But an SS with 10k on the clock would probably not have been wrecked.

The Holden LSD are not the strongest diff's around - but if both wheels turn the same direction when its off the ground it should work fine.

    I like my LSD

if i were u mate, and u brough it, pop the oil cover open, drain the fluid and have a look at the bolt patterns, single spinners have only 1 set of bolts which hold the crown gear in, the lsd's have a 2nd set which bolt the rest together

this is what a single pegger looks like (LOL NOTE THE CENTRELINK FORMS IN THE BACKGROUND...)

    and this is a LSD

I have a vr wagon with lsd, but i have no idea what ratio it is. How do i tell, is there some numbers stamped somwhere that i can reference to find out. In 5th it does about 2050rpm at 100km/h, if that helps.

Mine had the ratio stamped on a part number tag attached to the back of the diff, also installed it sunday, gotta love the extra fun both wheels spinning up alot better control then the single spinner. Now ill put a mini spool in my old one for when i kill this lsd.

Hey para any idea when heathcotes reopening?

its open! next race meet is in 2 weeks.. which i MIGHT be at :O

    look on their site

yes the gear ratio's are stamped on the crown gear usually, if not on the crown gear then the pinion gear

    VR Wagz, 2050 rpm sounds like 3.45s to me, i do 1800rpm @ 1000 and 1900-2000rpm @ 110 with 3.08's

Cant accurately compare your revs to his paradox, yours is auto for starters, his is a v6 manual so different gearing in the box, and idea what both final ratio's are?
I would assume they are just the stock 3.08's, but POSSIBLY 3.45's, are you aware that anythings been done to the diff before?
