Looks nice but I think you should have painted the door handles and the black on the sill panel and the bottom of the bumpers.
Shut up when I'm talkin' to you, you hear me, answer me!

LOL how did u manage to use so much paint, and more clear then paint.
If you didnt mix it, what gun and pressure were you using, as its bloody thick unmixed, didnt your paint supply ask why you were buying so much paint.
Either way its still come up nice, and im sure its better then before, good job.
this may be the longest lasting paint job in the world. 50 years it will still look brand new. nah that's a fantastic job, i might be buying a hz wagon soon so i hope to replicate some beautiful results like this!
LOL..mmm yep did go nuts a bit hey..??Call me Micheal Angelo, he too was neva happy with his painting of the ceiling on the Cisteen Chapel.I neva liked it once i'd 1st applied the very 1st coats of blue, Paranoia sets in...
Been watching too many of them classic resto shows on channel 31 i'd put it down 2 & seeing the paint jobs on sum of thoz wickerd machines make me passionate a little.Seeing as thou the original paint was all but rubbed back 2 metal i wanted 2 make sure it was betta than the original. The bonnet, boot & roof i painted seperately.I made easels outa ladders, painted the boot & bonnet on a slight angle to get it rite. They have most of the paint on.I've rarely seen an original blue mettalic except perhaps the few that were painted on a monday & not half an hr before knock off time fridays when no1 gives a toss..The rest i painted panel by panel. That was mixed blue, going by wat i've left in my 20 ltr tin.All the stuff we got cheap & i have the compressor & guns.I think it was around $500 4 everthing off hand atm.I mixed the base coat as it says on the tin 4 trs = 6trs of R-102 thinners.Same with the clear. The handles & miriors i painted black but they have the slighest tint of metal flake in..I was trying to do sumthing original.Just sumthing diffrent. It is way too slight 2 bring up on pics, only sumthing u can see in full sunlight. The sill now is black. The shots in my 1st post i knocked it up, that explains why the bumper is hanging down awkwardly at the front...Sorry u got me raving...

Nice work. Looks good from the pics at least.
Did you colour sand between coats to remove orange peel?
Just need a Turbo now to haul that extra 35kg of paint around:P
Nah she looks good. Well done. I wish I had the gear to paint.![]()
Looks great. Won't the paint crack more easily being so thick though???
