im gonna get lsd put in and wondering what road i should take.
i got a mini spool in atm but its really starting to **** me with the turning and stuff but they are really fun and very predictable but time to go.
i can get a good condition lsd diff from disc to disc for bout $250 and was thinking just changing fluid and replacing my diff with this one while at the same time i'll do all bushes and stuff too
or i can go to a shop and get a reco lsd with new bearings, fluid and everything installed for $750 drive in/drive out.
wont be too hard for me to do myself i think, my only worry is the break lines, ive changed rotors and pads before but never bled lines or anything but why im thinking do in shop is i'll get a warranty atleast

Get the lsd for 250, get the gears taken out, renew bearings and clutches if needed, then slap some 3.7's in![]()
No need to bleed the brakes when changing diff mate. Just pull the calipers and backing plates off the diff and hang them up with a piece of wire, then bolt them back on the new diff. Done...
cable ties are your freind.
but should i ask, sum1 has to. if you dont know how to bleed brakes, do u really know how to change a diff over and do your bushes?
no, not at all, just curious.
i missed out on the diff so i was wondering if v6/8 diffs are the same? if not whats differant?

isnt it that the gears are shot peened on the v8's? cant really see an 8 snapping gears but....
i might be wrong (anyone know 100%?)
