Done do either, get a 2.5 inch catback, delete the muffler and add a high flowing glass packed resonator. eliminates drone in v6's and retains performance.

Dont get two mufflers if ya want some noise. I got a 2.5 inch catback and ended up cutting off last muffler after a month because it was too quiet.
Australia. Love it or leave it

hmm well i went with the 2 muffler type only cause i want it a little loud but not very loud......hard to explain ..however the type im getting is supposed to have a good note to it something about it is a straight through pipe as in it just goes straight through the mufflers and the mufflers are supposed to make it a little less droney while still keeping its note kinnda like a straight through pipe from the cat back lol anyway will find out tomorrow

    cheers

lmao..well just after i installed the system i sold the vn it to me mate and brought a vs:P however the system i got was the 2 muffler one (as said) and it sounded good/loud...like really loud for a 2 muffler system, me mate likes it, i liked it...altho i pretty sure it was a cheap nasty system as i was over his place 2 days ago and it seems that the rear muffler pipe is starting to rust:P that will teach me for going cheap:P but now on me VS it has a full redback cat back system and has the 2 mufflers and sounds good when ya up it it has a nice note and not too droany and isn't rusting:P

in teh end its up to the individual, as i work nights i dont really wanna be cruising through me neighbor hood with a really dronny exhaust and like i said me sis VR had teh 1 muffler system and **** was it really droanny and sounded shit ( in my opinion)

well the one me sis had on hers i have no idea what brand it was (sold it about 4 year ago...i miss it lol) umm the one on me VS is a redback system that have straight through glass packed mufflers. sounds good but i guess if you want it to be loud but not overly load get the sytem with 1 muffler (straight through center muffler with no rear resi). personally i wouldn't put a hot dog on but its up to you When i up me VS me mate rekens it has a good note/bark to it:P
