check your fuse, relay and connecting wires/plugs to the pump. otherwise sounds like the pump has crapped itself.
you didnt have a light on the dash (possible low oil pressure) when low oil pressure is detected the fuel pump automatically shuts off, its a safety mechanism.. i would steer away from that though unless you had a red bulb light up.
(this may sound strange but this this hapened i carnt lock or unlock using the remote only using the key any ideas would be greatful
just noticed that in the post, did it always do this or recently? very common problem with vn central locking, you may get it working by holding the remote at differant positions around the car. Does the immobiliser light go out after pressing the button???
Turn the lock in the passenger side door jam to disable the immobiliser for diagnostics.
hi mate there was no light on dash and there is no lock in the left door jam or in the glove box..........strange
you sure its not in the door jam? its under a black rubber boot, either just above or just under the door pin
im trying to think how the car would just stop (fuel pump stopping) when the immobiliser has already been de-activated before startup...
Unless its a problem with the immobiliser itself which **** itself, then wont allow you to re-activate the fuel pump.
dont know the rubber boot is in the door jam pulled the boot off but nothing in there got me #@%ked
??? over the net it sounds like someone has tinkered with it previously, could be as simple as a loose wire.
your next step is to see an auto elec so they can pinpoint the problem.
ok cheers mate and thanks
Yeah, sounds like some kind of dodgy wiring to me..
