Thats a good price if you drive it and nothing sqeakes, rattles, knocks, shudders or whines. The paint will also have to be in vgc and interior cant be shabby...

Does the guy have receipts for the engine rebuild? if not id be a bit sceptical.. i could sell my car, have you standing right beside it running and tell you it has a cam and been rebuilt, and it hasnt had any of it done... how many people do you see advertising that the motor eas rebuilt a year ago??? just something to make you more inclined to buy it.

I saw a link to a Red VP SS, manual, for 5k.

PM vnexecutive, he might still know the link.

thats about the going rate for a VP SS, but it'd wan't to have a power pack and be immaculate for 7k.

Yeah, for 7 grand it would want to be fair mint.
But you still see them for 10 grand and even more, but they are insanly mint ones.
Expect to pay a bit more for a manual too.

Clearly this quote is suppose to read:
You buy a VL if you want to be someone, you buy a VK if you are someone!

But I had to change it for this thread :P

Cobez. Always trying really, really hard.

    Gotta admire his spirit.

Also, I'd say around $6k would be tops, unless you really fall in love with it and wouldn't settle for anything less

its over heated at least once since he knows it needs a water pump, 100 bucks= new coolant, new clutch 200 and labour if your not doing it yourself, in the end it will be over 5 grand as it is.. the paint and kays are good though by the looks of it.

And vp over vn, ive owned a few of both and the vp is the winner by a long shot. the visual differance between vn ss/vp ss & vn calais/vp calais are big enough to stop the debate right there.

I read that to mean he has replaced both the clutch and water pump in the lats nine months.
