if the cigarette lighter socket is illuminated i would say one wire connects up from your parking lights and there should be an earth wire there as well and 1 wire from your accessories to power the cig lighter

The colours on mine are different but the 2 thicker wires got to the lighter, brown being positive ( to the centre of the socket) and the other one negative. The thinner wire is for the light.

In my VP the grey is for light, brown for power like accenstencil said and black is earth.
