Default In WA? Is your VN/VP live axle sedan too low? I want your springs.

Hey guys, just putting this up on the off chance someone has the lowest king springs and wants to lift their car again... I have the opposite problem; I bought super low kings when I should have gone with the lowest. Check out my VN thread if you want to know how high they sit.

Thought this might be a good opportunity to help someone out as I know not everyone likes their car to ride too rough..

I did the same thing as you. I got supers from repco, put them in and didnt like the ride height at all. So i took them back and replaced them for ultras for no charge. depends where you got them, you might be able to do the same.

Nah I've had my super lows for ages, like over 12 months now. Just time to go lower.

^^^ LOL? chopped? if you hit a pedestrian and kill them and they examine your car and find that you chopped the springs, prolly go prison.

Tyre shops can compress your springs (unchopped ones of course, any shop that would compress chopped springs are shady at best)

haha oh dear. Points for thinking, but your handling will suffer a bit and your bump stops will take a beating. I'm doing it properly. If I have to I'll get some reset, but no chopping.

i dont like the idea of chopping them. even tho its quick and cheap, i payed and said exacatly how much lower i wanted the car to sit so i would be happy.. after ive chopped my bumpstops in half ive got a tad of travel but not much. i would still rather get kings to custom make the spring because i felt it made it a bit softer

Ive got lows in the rear and superlows in the front, the cars rolling on 17's, it is a tad lower, but you can definatly feel it when you drive, I dont wanna go any lower, i realy like my zaust where it is, and the car already follows the road to much.
