I'm pretty sure the LH engine pipe assembly which has the Y branch as part of it is the same on the VN whether it is auto or manual. It is just the short RH engine pipe that is different.

sorry mate but what is the short riht hand engine pipe? is that the extractor coming off the engine? if that is different wouldnt the y piece need to meet it in a different spot so it would make te y piece different as well?

First of all, do you have extractors or the original manifolds?

On both extractors and originals, the Y piece is the same for both. As long as you use the same brand if it has extractors.

The original engine pipes are two piece, the LHS goes all the way to the cat and has the little Y branch bit as part of it, the RHS is a short engine pipe that crosses over behind the sump and slips into the LHS section.
