chipping of alternator belt on 304

he guys iv gone through 3 alternator belts in the last 2 months the inside of the belt looks like its bein chipped away would this be an alignment problem???

any help would be great thanks

Not to maybe point out the obvious, but have you carfully gone over your pulleys to make sure they are not damaged.

yea had a bit of a look they seem ok mite have to take them off for better look
