I'm guessing this is just an hsv enhanced calais as weren't sv 5000's a seperate model?
VN Calais SV 5000
Cheapest VN SV5000 I've seen of late was $8,500.
One on Ebay now for $16,000.
White 05 V6 VZ Executive - Thrashed Ex Telstra car
and 3 Dangerous non ABS VN's
Yeah just enhanced.
SV5000s only came in Green and i think its called Rose (almost a purple colour)
Aswell as the ONE white one, which is manual (but last i saw was in need of a resto)

Probably a mock up but i cant find it now.
looking for a new car, thinking about a vn calais project not sure as it hasnt got a motor or box. Just trying to find an vn-vp v8 for a good price something that i can do as a project
Yay found it
Mock up
no edit nah that mock up has motor and box.
The calais im looking at buying has no motor and box. Ill put up a pic of it
Yes i still keeping the vp as a runabout
British Racing Green and Rose Grey.
Malachite rings a bell for the green colour.
I think that they were based on an executive and therefore had a VIN starting 6H8VK19L...etc.
The one on ebay (real one) list malachite green as the colour.
I sent the guy a question telling him its not a sv500 his reply was
Hi Mate, I would not know whether it is an SV5000 or not as it is my sons car. If you want to talk to him,
Then why would you put it on the subtitle and description?
Maybe the guy advertising the car doesn't realise the significance of 'SV5000' in terms of spec.?
I found this:
HSV SV 5000 Commodore (SOLD)
which might provide a point of reference. It appears from the VIN in that ad. that they are based on a Berlina rather than Exec.
The SV5000 is based on the Berlina - Yep![]()
