took handbrake problem to mechanic today, cost me 50 bucks to be repaired, really happy,, for an hour when it happened again,
not sure how to describe problem.
handrake pulls up about 6-8 clicks now, where as when the mechanic fixed it was only bout 3 clicks, the way it was before it stuffed up the first time yesterday.
can hear a slight banging noise when travelling slow (under 40 k's,
handbrake pulls up about 6-8 clicks and is spongy, and doesnt really hold even when it is pulled out 6-8 clicks,.
got me beat.
i'll go to a brake repair tomorrow maybe.
just about had enough of the damn thing.
lol
anyone have some diagrams, etc for vn series 1 calais rear disc brake, handbrake?
i never worked on these before, and dont want to attack it meself if i have no idea what to look for.
Its really easy to do, by the sounds of it you might have a stripped adjuster. Ill post a pic in a bit (if the gregorys has one).
cheers mate
