My VN has a VP Dash???

Hey guys, i was looking at my dash today while trying to install my VP Calais centre console, and while i had it all layed out i relised that my actual dash (main part) is the VP blue/grey colour??? the colour matches the VP console perfectly.

Is anyone elses VN like this? My VN is a series 2 tho. But my mates VP exec. has a gray dash top and bottom???

I know its just a little thing, but i wanted to know if anyone else has a blue dash.

my vp wreck does have a blue dash, my vn has a grey/light grey dash...
there is no difference between the vn/vp dash's really..
all the same until u get to the calais, and berlina interiors..

Yeah i know there is no difference. It's just i hate that stupid colour. I like the grey better. It came from the factory like that, i just thought it was weird. Oh well time for a bigger dash mat. and some woodgrain trim.

Whats the difference between a VP calais console and a normal console? i.e. berlina console?

No difference in the console, Berlina LX and Calais both have full electric windows, different cluster and switches around the dash though.

The consoles are different.. there a full 1piece from glovebox to stereo surround then the rounded stereo surround eg: like the vq console, vs calais, statesman etc etc etc list goes on.

VP's have black consoles!!!! totaly different, because they have black parts . Both my VN and VP have the same colour dash really pretty much.... Grey. As far as I know there were both colours in both models greyish blue and grey and the VN got Tan and Brownish/red also. The VP also got Tan but I'm not sure if it got the nice browny redish posh plastic that some rare VN's did which if you have a black car looks AWESOME x 20

Yep, my VP has the factory blue / grey dash, and my original console was black and grey, but as Hozy just pointed out, the calais ones were grey i am pretty sure.

I changed all my door trims, console etc to VN calais stuff so it's grey, it's not that noticible when you are just glancing over the car.

I seriously hate that red / brown interiors that some VN's had. Each to their own though.

My VP SS has the blue, bastard to get parts for to. Looking for some parts so anyone in Melb can PM me would be good, namely speaker covers, and instrument cluster surround. Chur

Thanks for all the replys guys. I'm really just having a whinge about the dash. I just hate that blue/grey colour. Also it's only the dash thats blue, the speaker covers, cluster surround and the demister vents are grey

I don't get it, the dash has been in the car from the factory.

Mabye it's time to rip it out and replace it when i whack in the VP calais loom. On the plus side, dash matches the console, so no need to paint it.

Stockies, as if you wouldn't be in Perth. I need that dash face. I've got a grey one at the moment but everything else in there I've swapped to the blue. Still need carpet, door seals, dash face and just a few other little plastic trims that are currently grey..

I desperately need a good blue dash lol

I'm SURE it says on the build sheets you can get the blueish dash pad on the grey interior as an option

Only series 2 My series 1 tank has straight VN grey all 'round.

Not really 2 tone if the top trims (speaker grilles etc) are still grey and the dash face is the only blue bit.

Yeah i know. Funny isn't it? When i finally get a VP calais dash loom of my mate, the stupid thing is coming out!

and why would anyone want a blue dash??? The rest of the car is GREY!!! who options such a thing?
