    Default VN Windshield

Hi guys, jsut a once off question and post, I am not an enthusist in fact i bairly know anything about cars, but this seem the best place to ask.

Unfortuantly my VN windsheild has becomes cracked quite drastically and was just wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate on a cost to replace and even reccomend a place in the Geelong area.

    Any assitance appriciated.

    Thanks

It's not quite the same, but my ****ter Vp needed a new rear screen, so I got one from the wreckers for $30, and got it fitted for $100. In Brissy though.

See what price you can get one from the wreckers for.

    Thanks for all the advice,

I had to get it done quickly, I rang around many couldnt do it till Monday, National Windscreens came out on site within half an hour of calling and fitted a new screen for $245 Inc, so a bit above what you said, but as I said it was about convenience of getting it done quick and the places that were cheaper couldn't do it till mid next week.

Once again thanks guys you gave me a benchmark, i did get a quote for over $400, but after reading your replies, I realised that was a rip

Do you get a new seal (outer) when you get a windscreen, or much is a new seal aswell. We need a new windscreen but we want a new seal to match the new paint haha.

$280 is the going rate in perth, from companies like Obrien glass etc
If they were only $140 I could smash 2 for the price of 1 !

oh yea is there something about the VN windscreen they are so weak!
I punched one softly and it cracked, and another time i threw my bag into the car it broke my rearview mirror off and cracked it too! **** vn windscreens
